The problem was never a lack of information.
It was too much of it, arriving in a form that made contractors do all the work.
Compliance contractors kept telling me the same thing. They were already signed up to free portals and paid alert services. They weren't short of notices. They were short of time to work out which of those notices were worth opening, and the good ones kept getting found too late.
That's a filtering problem, not a data problem. The information is all public. What's missing is the bit in between: someone reading the notice, checking it against what your business actually does and where it actually works, verifying the deadline on the buyer's own portal, and telling you plainly whether it's worth your afternoon.
So that's what BidSignals is. I read the notices and send the ones worth your time, with the reasoning attached so you can disagree with me. It has its first paying customer and it is intentionally narrow: UK fire safety and property compliance, nothing else.
If a week is thin, I'll tell you it's thin rather than padding the email out, because padding it is exactly the problem you'd be paying to avoid. And if the digest isn't saving you time, it isn't ready for you, and I'd rather hear that than keep taking your money.
Straight answers
What BidSignals will and won't do.
What it will do
- Read the week's notices against your trades, patch and no-bid rules
- Verify deadlines on the buyer's own portal
- Name the blockers before you commit bid time
- Give you a bid, watch or pass view with reasoning
- Link you straight to the official notice
- Tell you when a week is quiet
What it won't do
- Replace Contracts Finder or Find a Tender
- Write or submit your bid
- Guarantee you'll win anything
- Claim a win rate it can't evidence
- Send you volume to look busy
- Lock you into a contract
On the founding group
BidSignals is early. The £79 founding rate is a launch price, not a countdown, and it's locked for 12 months while you stay subscribed. There's no invented scarcity here and there won't be.
Judge it on a real digest.
Tell me your trades, your patch and what you never want to bid. I'll send this week's, free.
- No card required for the first digest
- Deadlines checked at the buyer or source portal
- Terms, cancellation and refund wording public before you subscribe
- Founding rate £79/month, locked for 12 months while subscribed
